FMS123 Ombre Thoughts & Prayers

Birthday and Thank You cards seem to always be in my stock pile.  I suppose I don't keep a supply of sympathy cards because I'm a bit superstitious.  Also, I like to make a card with the person being remembered/prayed about in mind.

This card started with the FMS123 sketch.  It's not your typical layout, with the 8 stacked shapes, and at first I wasn't sure if I would be able to come up with something.  But I do love a challenge!
The stamp sets used are Happy Watercolor and Thoughts and Prayers for the sentiment.  To achieve the Ombre look, I used Soft Sky, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay cardstock and cut them into 3/4"squares.  Using dimensionals I popped them each up leaving a little bit of space between them.

The flower image from Happy Watercolor was stamped in Gold Encore ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  Using the white chalk marker, I colored in the flower petals.  The leaves were colored in with the corresponding color marker so the image didn't blend into the cardstock.

This was a great sketch to get the creativity flowing!  The Clean Team came up with some beautiful designs as usual.  Thanks for checking out mine!
