FMS113 Striped Christmas

A chance to play at Freshly Made Sketches again while watching football (and waiting for The Pats to play).  Here is the sketch:

I really love the simplicity of this sketch along with the offset borders.  I recently saw  some cards used with the red and silver Glimmer Paper.  Had to give it a try!

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on Whisper White on a Smoky Slate panel.  I cut 1/4" thick strips of silver and red glimmer paper and adhered them side by side at a 45 degree angle.  (Used my grid paper to line it up).  Added a Rhinestone to dot the "I" in Christmas.

Stamped a small star image from Simply Stars in Smoky Slate and Real Red and popped them up using dimensionals.  Punched out a couple of stars with the small star punch in silver glimmer paper.
