Camo Card for FMS106

Masculine cards are typically challenging, but when I saw a card that used Gorgeous Grunge to make a camouflage background, I knew I wanted to try it!  The card that I saw had only a few colors on white cardstock.  I decided to try Crumb Cake for the cardstock and used Old Olive, Soft Suede and Basic Black inks to stamp the image.  I haven't played Freshly Made Sketches in a while, so I headed over to see what the sketch for this week is:
I thought this was a great sketch to showcase the Camo background!  Here is what I came up with:

The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned in Old Olive Ink.  I stamped another Gorgeous Grunge image on top of the sentiment in Soft Suede.  Stamped and cut out some star images from Simply Stars and popped them up with dimensionals.  Added Early Espresso Candy Buttons to the center.

Here's a close up:

Originally I had added 3 candy buttons to the side of the sentiment, but I went to bed last night thinking it wasn't quite right.  Got up early this morning and added the stars.  What do you think?

Thanks for looking!

Oh my gosh, I've never seen this stamp set used to make camo! That's so clever and I love this with the stars! Thanks for sharing your card with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
