MDS Wedding Gift

We have a wedding coming up in a few weeks for some very special people.  With funds very tight right now, I wanted to create something that had meaning and was personalized for them.  Originally I wanted to do this on burlap fabric, but when I tested out printing on it I just didn't like the look, it was too rustic for a wedding gift, not the right feel.  So I got some Aida cloth, used for cross stitching, which come in a wide variety of colors as I found out.  Here is a close up of the printed out portion:

I cut the Aida cloth to 8.5x11 and ironed on a piece 8.5x11 freezer paper.  Using My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!, I set up the words and flourishes on a blank 8.5x11 project.  When I was happy with everything, I put the cloth with the attached freezer paper backing into my inkjet printer and set my settings to highest quality.

Really pretty and personal.  I may be making many more of these in the future!  Would you like to receive this as a gift?

Thanks for stopping by!

That is very pretty. I was soooo hoping it was going to be an actual pattern.
