FMS79 Horse Frontier Card

Happy Easter!  Trying to do a quick post before we head off to be with family for the holiday.  Another Freshly Made Sketch to motivate me:
This card ended up being a little piece meal of components that I already had.  The other day I was playing with the Natural Composition Specialty Paper by brayering Soft Suede ink onto it.  It has a glossy raised pattern that resists the ink allowing you to create a really cool background.  I also had stamped the horse from Horse Frontier and had been playing around coloring him in.
The colors used are Early Espresso for the base of the card and scalloped band, Soft Suede on the main panel stamped in Soft Suede ink using Woodgrain Background.  The horse and Happy Birthday sentiment from Sketched Birthday in Soft Suede ink is on Crumb Cake Cardstock.  The banner behind the sentiment is Soft Suede.  I layered some crochet trim on the Early Espresso band, dyed a flower from Flower Trim with Rose Red ink.
The horse image was stamped in Stazon Black ink and then I used blender pens and ink to color it in.  With 5 nieces and a daughter who are all obsessed with horses, this would make a perfect birthday card for any of them!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the holiday!
