FMS76 Freshly Made Sketches

I decided to try out a sketch from the blog Freshly Made Sketches.  When I saw it, I immediately thought of the cute butterfly elements I used in a previous card here.  Anyone can participate in the sketch and link their card to the blog's gallery.  This week's sketch is the following:

I decided not to look at the gallery before designing my card as I didn't want to be influenced by what others had designed.  Butterflies definitely seem like a popular theme!

I used the Oh, Hello stamp set oval in Daffodil Delight ink to make the background of the circles.  Tempting Turquoise cardstock was embossed using the Chevron TIEF.  Rhinestones were colored with a Sharpie marker.  The Finishing Touches edgelit was used to die cut the Rich Razzleberry cardstock edges.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is such a pretty card! I love the chevron embossing with the chevron DSP and the way you did the layers for the butterflies. The chevron paper almost makes the butterflies look like they are in motion. Very cool. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
