Birthday Class Trio

In a previous post I showed the ribbon flower keychain that we are going to make at my niece's birthday party this month.  She also had asked for a bookmark.  I also thought to round it out a stamped candle would be fun.  The original bookmark I made did not coordinate with the colors of the keychain so I changed up the colors, using Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple instead of Baja Breeze and Island Indigo.  Here is the trio altogether:

The candle stamping was very easy.  I used markers to color the sentiment from A Daring Adventure set and stamped it onto white tissue paper.  I also stamped the other images from the set onto the tissue paper.  I cut the tissue paper to fit around the candle and positioned it.  Then I wrapped wax paper tightly around and heated with my embossing gun.  I worked in small areas at a time, moving the wax paper as I went until all of the tissue paper was melted into the candle.

To finish it up I embossed Primrose Petal core'dination paper using the Argyle TIEF and sanded it.  Final touch, adhere the bottom of the candle to a Tea Lace Paper Doily.  Can't wait to help the girls make these!
