Blizzards and Valentine Treats

It has stopped snowing but they are still working on the roads.  We have at least 24" here.  They open the roads at 4 pm and I can't wait to get out of the house!

While my girl was outside sledding and enjoying the fresh snow, I was making her Valentine treats for her class.  Originally I had prepped these for the Valentine class I held last weekend, but by the time the girls finished their cards they just wanted to play!

I cut the base layer hearts out of the die cut sheet in the Stampin' Up! More Amore designer series paper.  Cut the smaller heart with our punch.  In the spring catalog are Creped Filter Paper.  It comes in circles and large rectangles.  Using Real Red I stamped the heart image from Hearts A Flutter stamp set onto the circles and wrapped it around a lollipop tied with Real Red stitched grosgrain ribbon.

I stamped the heart again in Pool Party ink in Whisper White card stock and die cut using a Framelit from Hearts A Flutter set.  Pool Party Baker's Twine attaches it to the Real Red ribbon.

Twenty two of these later and my daughter is ready for Valentine's Day at school!
