2012 Holiday Stamp-A-Stack

Each year I do a class where you pay a fee to stamp and assemble cards that I've pre-cut and pre-designed.  It also includes envelopes.  The following designs are what we did this year.  Everyone makes 3 each of the 4 designs for a total of 12 cards.

Merry Christmas Ornament Card

This card is on Naturals Ivory and Rich Razzleberry card stock.  It's hard to see, but I sprayed Gold shimmer mist on top of the Rich Razzleberry panel after dry embossing with Holiday Frame TIEF.  Simple, but elegant!

Ornamental Reindeer Card

This one happens to be my daughter's favorite and this year she decided she was going to make this card.  She makes her own cards, but has never done one that I've designed and pre-cut like this.  She did help me die cut the snowflakes for everyone, so perhaps that gave her a vested interest!  :)
The base card is Early Espresso with snowflakes stamped on Crumb Cake.  The Early Espresso strip is dry embossed on our new core'dinations card stock, lightly sanded to bring out the color.

Peace on Earth Poinsettias Card

Please excuse the smudge on my sentiment!  In the chaos of preparation for the class, I put my thumb on the sentiment before it dried.  This card uses the Watercolor Winter set.  Card base is River Rock with the pinecone images stamped on it.  The flowers are Riding Hood Red ink 2 step, the inside stamped off once to get a lighter ink color and the flower outline full strength ink.  The fern/pine needle image is inked in Always Artichoke, stamped off once as well.

Believe in Snowflakes Card

This one is Baja Breeze and Midnight Muse using the Snowflake Soiree stamp set.  It's based on a card I posted previously on my blog for a demonstrator swap.  I really like the "Mother of Pearl" technique used here.  It's shimmer paint on top of glossy white cardstock that has been stamped on and allowed to dry.  After the shimmer paint dries, you sponge on some Baja Breeze ink.  Very pretty!

It was a fun night of stamping, eating and socializing!
