Some more summer

Here are a few more summer cards as summer is nearing its end. I am already focused on wedding and fall themed cards. I should be thinking Christmas as well, but I just can't bear to yet! Stampin' Up! recently did a promotion where you make a minimum purchase and you can get "A Reason to Smile" stamp set for only $5. I had some trouble trying to come up with something, but ended up going simple. I used Whisper White and Daffodil Delight card stock and Daffodil ribbon. I stamped the flowers in Basic Black and filled in the center with the center image in daffodil ink.
For the following card, I wanted to use my new butterfly punch with coordinates with the butterfly stamp set. It is hard to see in the photo, but I punched out the butterfly in vellum and mounted it under the stamped and punched butterflies. The antennae were stamped in green on the white panel below. Used the scallop edge punch for the matting of the white panel in green. I embossed with my big shot in Wisteria Wonder and mounted it on a card of Elegant Eggplant.
