Happy Easter

Cruising Pinterest the other day, I came across a clay pendant that was stamped. I've never been into jewelry, but I thought this might be a fun thing to try. Especially since my daughter is all about cute, girly embellishments!

My daughter wanted to help and make something appropriate for Easter. We started with Fimo clay, rolling it into a ball and squashing it down. I pressed the rubber stamp images once I had it into a flattened circle. I used a retired Stampin' Up! set called Holiday Blitz. I cut the flip flops out using a small fluted biscuit cutter that I have in my kitchen. For the bunny pendant I cut it free hand since I didn't have something on hand that worked for that shape. Cut my pendant hole before baking.

After baking them in the oven for about 1/2 an hour and letting them cool, we used Smooch Pearlized ink on the embossed images and wiped off, just to accent the images. I forgot to grab cord at the store, so we used silver stretch cord and added our choice of beads from the SU Pretties Kit.

Happy Easter!
