April Birthdays

Haven't had much time to create lately. Work has been very busy, which is a good thing, but at the same time stressful. I have a few birthdays to plan for in April, one being for my mother and another for a very good stamping friend! Even though my mother's is later in the month, I made her card first.

Using textured Pink Pirouette card stock for the base, I layered a panel of twitterpated designer series paper on top of Baja Breeze. Using the petal cone die I cut out the banner which I stamped the sentiment on in Cherry Cobbler. I finally used my free Triple Treat Flower stamp and stamped twice, once in Cherry Cobbler and once in Pink Pirouette and then punched them out with the five petal flower and fancy flower punches. Added a pearl on a bitty punch flower and layered it. I curled the leaves of the flowers around a blender pen just to give it a little extra dimension. Pretty quick and easy!

For my stamping friend's card, I am challenging myself to not use Baja Breeze anywhere in the card! :) That's all I have seemed to be using lately. Time to change seasons and go with some less muted tones. We'll see what I come up with!
